The Jump Start

The Jump Start is a product to assist people who struggle with getting up from a sitting position. As we age, strength and balance lessen and this device aims to assist people as they get up from a seat. A moment when most elderly individuals struggle is in the third stage of the sit-to-stand movement, known as “extension”. This is when the body extends outwards, shifting from three points of contact to two. Jump Start provides the support needed to give a smooth transition to one’s feet.
