Weeknder Camper

Micro-Living Design | 2021

I’m a big fan of camping and usually go a few times a year. In a project for my junior year of CSULB, we were asked to create a post-COVID environment. I designed a camper for an easy getaway from the at-home lifestyle which the pandemic has created. I thought it would be a cool idea to repurpose an existing product because it would reduce waste as well as the overall price. I converted a secondhand trailer as the chassis. The Weeknder is built on a double jet ski trailer and reduces in size for road use and storage. This camper is my response to the problems I’ve run into when camping and will create a unique experience on the road which you won’t be able to find with other commercial campers.
